a no show?!

When I found out about Tuesday’s With Dorie, a blogging event in honor of one of the best cookbooks around Baking: From My Home To Yours, I immediately asked to join. A day spent on whipping up and savoring a Dorie Greenspan recipe? Sign me up.

I got all ready for my first entry, a wonderful Brown-Sugar apple cheesecake, chosen by Jaime. But sadly, I must report that my oven and kitchen were not used last night. I know, I know, the first entry and you are a no show?! In my defense, we could all send angry hate mail to my professors who decided that loading me up with tons of assignments. They’d probably vouch for me.

Nonetheless, my lack of participation is rather disappointing, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t check out how the rest of the gals adventures went here. I promise, next week, rain or shine, homework be damned, I’m in.
