Giving thanks

It’s about that time to start prepping tomorrow’s meals. I’m in charge of the salad, cornbread, and dessert. I’m still debating on whether to serve homemade Pumpkin Pie or something different, like a Pumpkin Souffle. Or should I do something unexpected like a Pecan Pie or Pear Pie? Last year I made this fabulous Pumpkin Pie and ridiculously tall and creamy Cheesecake so I kind of want to play around with dessert this year but there are just too many options!!
Well, while I try to figure out what I’m going to bring tomorrow (and I better do it quickly) I want to extend many wishes of love and thanks to you all for sticking around. You have no idea how much I appreciate all of your comments and emails. You are the sweetest friends a girl could ask you.
From my cramped kitchen to yours, Happy Thanksgiving!

Your Thanksgiving sounds like it’ll be SPECTACULAR! Can’t wait for a recap :)
Enjoy the day!
That plate of food looks so delish. I cannot wait for tomorrow now! Have a great thanksgiving!!
i love your photos! so rich and colourful. and that meal looks delicious!!
Such beautiful photos. We’re sticking to tradition around here. I find for our guests Thanksgiving is not a time to experiment, although I do love to do so! Happy Thanksgiving!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! Love the first picture :)
Oh, what wonderful photography. Wonderful colors. It sounds like your Thanksgiving will be a good one! Cornbread makes everything better. ;) Have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
Sometime you should try Martha’s Sweet Potato Souffle Pie. It looks super impressive in its phyllo “shell” but not nearly the amount of work you would think it would. At least I don’t remember it being hard, and I did that for my first Thanksgiving as host. I just remember nearly dropping it as I brought it to the table. I’m sure your picks for this year will rock.
*gurgle* beautiful colors, as always. *hug*
