Happy Halloween!

This week, winter came crashing in with its chilly weather and long, dark skies. While some may not like the shorter days and frigid temperatures, I actually love winter. When else can you lounge in your house all day, drinking coffee, reading, baking and watching movies? Winter was made for my lazy bones. Not to mention, I could use for some down time after having an especially hectic week. Work has been crazy busy and I’ve been exploring other ventures that make so excited I actually got myself worked up in such a frenetic state that a walk outside was MANDATORY.

While walking, I snapped this picture of the Empire State Building, a staple sight in everyday commute. When I glanced upwards and saw its lights twinkling in the dusk sky, I couldn’t help but smile. Because I’m here, doing what I want and heading in a path that will only lead me to a destination that I only dreamed of in the past.

Anyways, hope you all have a fabulous weekend and enjoy the Halloween holiday! New York comes alive during this festivities-packed weekend, making for an exciting couple of days. And nothing makes me happier than seeing a bunch of kids running around in costumes.

In that case, you should head to Park Slope for Halloween. You won’t be disappointed!

Sarah - I agree with you; winter is perfect for the lazy me! The best part about winter is just lying around watching Christmas movies and drinking holiday drinks from Starbucks. Winter comes at a perfect time because it gives us opportunity to relax and be thankful for everything we have accomplished! I hope you had a great Halloween!
