Weekend Words: To Hold and Let Go

Gearing up for a weekend spent with the best of people. Brunches, long walks, shopping trips, carrot cake. What about you? Expect to see the carrot cake up here in the next week. Is there anything better carrot cake and pillows of sweet cream cheese frosting? I think not. For now, I leave you with a few words. It feels right to share them, now as winter leaves and that lovely lady known as spring makes her way back. About FREAKING time. That’s all I have to say.

To live in this world

you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it

against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.

Robin - That photo makes me miss New York. It’s time for a day-trip, most definitely. XO
