
Raised on Betty Crocker cake mixes and Pillsbury cookie logs, I started this blog in 2007 as a way to document my adventures in the kitchen. The good, the bad, and the oh-so ugly. My kitchen mantra has been to try until I burn the house down. Which, thankfully, has yet to happen.
My work has been featured over at the San Francisco Convention & Visitors Bureau, Apartment Therapy’s TheKitchn, Slashfood, Serious Eats, Food Gawker, and Tastespotting.
To date, my favorite recipes have been nutella and chocolate chip cookies, bacon cheddar cornbread, thai chicken curry, the best EVER chocolate chip cookies, bittersweet brownies, banana cake with nutella frosting, and one-bowl chocolate cupcakes.

When not making a mess in the kitchen, you can find me in New York City, working hard in a pretty cool company developing online branding strategies and managing their digital presence. Or I could be enjoying a delicious pastry here or here. Or, more often than not, I’m drooling over clothes at Anthropologie.

I love coffee, laughter, Donald Draper, New York City, happy hour, red lips, dark chocolate, the smell of vanilla, champagne, Fiona Apple. In that order.
