I think my overflowing bookcases are a testament to my ridiculous reading addiction. From depressing books to the basic chick-lit easy reads, I’ll post reviews of the books I’ve plowed through and list the ones I can’t wait to get my hands on.

stay tuned. I’m currently lost under a sea of books.

  1. I’m in the middle of reading JULIE & JULIA, and it’s all right. If you enjoy this book, then I highly recommend MY LIFE IN FRANCE by Julia Child. It was a really, really great read, especially if you’ve ever experienced the joys of France and making food at home.

  2. I just got Julie and Julia. It’s in my book queue. I cannot wait to get started. I fell in love with Julia when reading My Life in France.

  3. the script seems to be broken, whats your LT unsername so I can peek at your library?

  4. Amanda (and Cecilia): if you like “My Life in France” I totally recommend “A Pig in Provence” by Georgeanne Brennan. It’s fun, very readable, and has great recipes. Made me want to up an move to Provence!

  5. Some months ago I read your entry about your favourite (?) book – The Glass Castle – and so I read it, even in english language (I’m Austrian). I really liked it, so I had to think of you now reading “The Center of Winter” by Marya Hornbacher. The topic may be different, but it bore resemblance with the strong bond between the whole family. Just wanted to tell you about it!

  6. You have to read Tarte Tatin by Susan Herrmann Loomis! I bought this book in Paris, and it instantly became one of my favorite books!
